The best mail client for Mac, way way better than Apple Mail, is now dead thanks to Google.
It’s been great. But someone should explain me the reason of killing a great app in it’s highest moment.

Android Gripes: 5 Years Later, And Google Still Can't Get It Right
I’m really amazed at how bad Google is at UI design, and even more amazed that people put up with it. Considering how practiced Google is at ripping off fundamental ideas from iOS (multi-touch, swiping, momentum scrolling, pinch to zoom, on-screen keyboard, etc.) you’d think they could do a better job of ripping off good UI practices also. But no; here they are 5 years after Apple first showed them the way, and they’re still failing miserably at it. Embarrassing.

"As always happens when Apple rolls out a major technology (in this case, e-concierge services), critics are happy to point out that Cupertino is late to the party (can you believe that it took them 5+ years to respond to the Treo?!). Specifically, they’re calling Siri a catch-up effort to match Google Voice Actions technology that’s been available on Android for well over a year. Having used Voice Actions for awhile now, I can confirm that this is half-true. On a feature-by-feature basis, Siri looks me-too. But from an experience standpoint, it’s totally different. As usual, Google’s implementation is process-oriented. Apple’s, unsurprisingly, is human and friendly. And this is why Siri has the potential to be revolutionary."

Cerco pianeta disperatamente
Leggere le prodezze creativo-linguistiche con le quali i berluscones difendono il loro dio infestando i giornali contrari al proprio credo (tutti quelli non controllati da Silvio, ormai) è quasi divertente.
Dico quasi, perché nello schiacciasassi onanistico di wannabe playboy che sognano orgasmi plurimi in ville principesche, si apre il sipario anche su una penosa difesa d’ufficio di un certo supermercato che schiaccia i fornitori e schiavizza i dipendenti, tutto per ciò che per gli adoratori di Silvio viene secondo in importanza dopo il sesso, e cioè il profitto.
E, di nuovo, i giudici diventano orchi da fiaba dell’orrore, pronti a sovvertire l’ordine costituito, moderni Luciferi che cadranno schiacciati dalla luce divina.
Succede ormai nelle reazioni sinaptiche di ammassi di cellule grigie che la tifoseria prenda il sopravvento sulla razionalità: nulla di sorprendente, abituati a secoli di fede accettata come fosse bambagia cerebrale. Capita anche in ambiti meno “sacri” della politica, come i tifosi di Google che, invece di analizzare criticamente la sentenza del giudice tedesco, si lanciano subito in beote tesi complottistiche e corruttorie, perché la decisione è contraria alla propria fede.
Muore, tra atroci dolori, l’inascoltata evidenza.
Per questo dico: quasi divertente. Sarebbe divertente se non avessi la sfortuna di dover convivere, sullo stesso pianeta, con tali imbecilli. E invece no, tra miliardi di stelle, proprio qui.
Quindi, quasi divertente.

Don’t forget the antivirus for your phone!
I’m rolling on the floor laughing! No, I’m not talking about Windows, but the “marvellous” mobile OS which, according to someone, it’s better than iOS (in their onanistic dreams!)
Dunno why, but looking at market strategies, fragmentation, propaganda, religion wars and viruses, Google/Android rise is becoming more and more similar to Microsoft/Windows one.
Come on, get the Norton Antivirus. Good luck! :D

If you give away your work for free to gain market share in an anti-competitive way and then sell your ads, doesn’t mean others should give you the chance to use their work (or their property) for free.
